Having lived on an island for the first twenty years of my life and at the edge of the sea for forty years, my work reflects a lifetime of images inspired by the sea. I also paint still life and landscapes. I began my work in 1970 using oils; a few years later I tried acrylic polymers and then in 1992, I began to explore the use of my Apple computer to create new images. Since then,the mouse has become my paintbrush; the screen, my canvas.
Using brilliant color is exciting for me. All of my images are printed using archival inks on archival papers and aremounted using acid free mat board.
